Las Vegas corporate travelA Las Vegas chauffeur service is pre-arranged ground transport booked ahead at a fixed price, carried out by a licensed for-hire operator. It is not hailed on the street and not dispatched on demand. The vehicle, the chauffeur and the price are all settled before the day of travel, whether the booking is a LAS airport transfer, an hourly car service or a black car to a morning meeting.
In practice that distinction decides what happens when things go wrong. A metered taxi and a surge-priced app both re-price themselves when traffic turns or the weather does. A reserved Las Vegas car service booking does not. The number you agreed is the number you pay, and it already contains the tolls, the airport access fees and the taxes.
The same reservation covers the rest of the region: Henderson Executive transfers, North Las Vegas transfers, Boulder City Municipal transfers, and a car service to Grand Canyon West Rim when the trip runs further out. For companies moving people through the city regularly, corporate travel in Las Vegas adds central billing and duty-of-care reporting on top of the same fleet.
Which one is right depends far more on where you are going than on which is nearest. Each has its own page with terminal detail and pickup arrangements.
| Airport | Distance | Typical drive, off-peak | Typical drive, peak | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Harry Reid InternationalLAS | 5 miles | 15 to 25 min | 25 to 50 min | Everything. One of the busiest leisure airports in the world |
| Henderson ExecutiveHND | 12 miles | 20 to 30 min | 30 to 50 min | Private aviation, and the field of choice during convention weeks |
| North Las VegasVGT | 12 miles | 20 to 30 min | 30 to 50 min | General aviation and Grand Canyon air tours |
| Boulder City MunicipalBLD | 26 miles | 35 to 45 min | 45 to 70 min | Canyon and Hoover Dam air tours |
Drive times are door to door from the arrivals kerb, not gate to gate, and they assume a direct private vehicle rather than a shared shuttle. Peak means roughly 07:00 to 10:00 and 15:30 to 19:30 on a weekday.
Las Vegas is five miles from airport to Strip, which makes the transfer sound trivial. What you are actually buying here is the avoidance of two queues and a walk.
Harry Reid handles taxi and app pickups through designated zones that, at Terminal 1, sit in a parking structure reached by a walk from baggage claim. During a large convention or a holiday weekend that queue becomes the defining memory of the arrival, running well past the point where anybody finds it funny. A pre-arranged chauffeur meets you at the terminal's designated pre-arranged pickup area or, on a meet and greet booking, inside baggage claim, and the difference on a Tuesday in January during a major trade show is frequently forty five minutes.
The Strip itself is usually the wrong road. Las Vegas Boulevard is slow by design, and locals and experienced operators use Paradise Road, Swenson, Koval or the I-15 to run parallel to it. A driver who takes the Strip on a Friday evening is adding twenty minutes for the scenery. That routing decision is the operator's and it does not change your price.
Then there is the resort itself. The large properties are enormous, their porte-cochères have their own traffic patterns and access rules, and the door you want is frequently not the one facing the Strip. Convention arrivals often need a different entrance to leisure arrivals at the same hotel. Tell the operator which hotel and which event, and the chauffeur takes the right approach rather than joining a taxi queue at the main entrance.
The calendar is the last piece. CES in January, the Formula One weekend in November, the National Finals Rodeo in December and the largest trade shows each take essentially every vehicle in the valley off the market. During those weeks, pricing is not the constraint, availability is, and it disappears months rather than weeks in advance.
Details above were checked against public sources at the time of writing. Rates, terminal assignments and construction timelines in this section change faster than any website updates, so treat your chauffeur's message on the day as the authority.
Published transfer times are usually the best case. These are ranges, and the upper end happens often enough to plan around.
| Route | Off-peak | Weekday peak | What moves it |
|---|---|---|---|
| LAS to the Strip | 15 to 25 min | 25 to 50 min | Paradise or Swenson rather than the Strip itself, which is the trick |
| LAS to Downtown and Fremont Street | 20 to 30 min | 30 to 55 min | I-15 north, past the whole length of the Strip |
| LAS to Summerlin | 30 to 40 min | 45 to 70 min | The 215 west, and a very different city at the end of it |
| LAS to Henderson and Lake Las Vegas | 25 to 35 min | 40 to 60 min | The 215 east, quieter and increasingly where people stay |
| LAS to the Las Vegas Convention Center | 15 to 25 min | 35 to 70 min | Short, until a hundred thousand delegates arrive at once |
| LAS to Red Rock Canyon | 35 to 45 min | 45 to 70 min | Twenty minutes from the Strip to genuine desert |
Each route above has its own page with pricing by vehicle class, the roads actually used and the times worth avoiding.
Intercity runs are priced as one fixed fare for the whole journey, not per hour, so the traffic is our problem rather than yours.
| Destination | Distance | Typical drive | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grand Canyon West Rim | 125 miles | 2h 15 to 2h 45 | The day trip most visitors actually take |
| Grand Canyon South Rim | 275 miles | 4h 15 to 5h | A long day, and better as an overnight |
| Zion National Park | 160 miles | 2h 30 to 3h | I-15 north through the Virgin River Gorge |
| Los Angeles | 270 miles | 4h to 6h | Sunday afternoons on I-15 southbound are notorious |
| Hoover Dam | 35 miles | 45 to 60 min | Usually booked hourly with waiting time |
| Death Valley | 120 miles | 2h to 2h 30 | Summer heat makes this a winter and spring trip |
The chauffeur meeting you is dispatched by an operator based here, not routed in from another market.

No meter, no surge multiplier, and no line item that appears after the ride is over.
If you are staying on the Strip and moving between properties, you frequently do not need a car at all. The monorail, the tram links between neighbouring resorts and, over short distances, walking are all reasonable, and a great many visitors book one transfer in, one out, and nothing else.
A chauffeur earns its price at arrival and departure during any busy week, for groups where splitting into three cars starts the evening badly, for Summerlin and Henderson where the distance is real, for canyon and Zion day trips booked hourly, and for anyone attending a convention where the walk from a parking garage with a bag and a badge is the wrong start to the day.
The full cost and time comparison against the meter is on Las Vegas taxi versus chauffeur.
The terminal assignment, the pickup zone that moved last month, the parking permit for that garage. None of it reaches you.

It depends far more on your destination than on distance. Harry Reid International (LAS), Henderson Executive (HND) are the main options, and the drive times differ enough that the cheapest ticket is often not the cheapest arrival. The table above sets out distance and typical drive time for each, and every airport has its own page with terminal detail and pickup arrangements.
In the designated pre-arranged pickup area for your terminal, with the chauffeur calling as you reach the doors. Pickup zones at LAS change during construction and reorganisation, so the operator confirms the current meeting point on the morning of your flight rather than relying on anything printed in advance. Being met inside arrivals on your name is a paid add-on.
Between 15 to 25 min off-peak and 25 to 50 min in weekday peak traffic, door to door from the arrivals kerb. Published figures shorter than that usually describe a quiet Sunday morning. Each route from the airport has its own page with the roads used and the times worth avoiding.
Yes. Bridge, tunnel and expressway tolls, express lane charges, airport access fees and taxes are all inside the price quoted at the time of booking. Ride-hailing apps and taxis add these to your fare per trip, which is why two apparently similar quotes can settle very differently at the end of the ride.
Yes. Every vehicle is run by a for-hire operator licensed in its own jurisdiction, with licensing and insurance verified before they can take a booking rather than checked per ride.
Sixty minutes of free waiting from the actual landing time, tracked against the aircraft rather than the schedule, which covers immigration, baggage and customs. Every other pickup includes 15 minutes. Beyond the free window, waiting is billed in 15-minute increments at the vehicle class rate and you are told before it starts.
At least 3 hours before pickup so the operator can assign and brief a chauffeur, though RYDES takes reservations up to a year out. For group vehicles and for the busy weeks noted above, book as early as you can, because availability runs out long before price becomes the problem.
Add your flight number and we track the aircraft. A delay moves your pickup automatically and costs nothing, with free waiting starting at the actual landing time. A diversion is handled by dispatch, who will re-brief a chauffeur to the new field where the operator has coverage. Dispatch answers around the clock on +1 888 881 7933.
Yes, with a two-hour minimum in 30-minute increments. The chauffeur waits between stops and nothing runs while you are inside a meeting. Once a day involves three or more stops, hourly hire is usually cheaper than separate transfers once you count the waiting you would have done anyway.
No, that is most of what you are buying. Taxi and app pickups at Harry Reid work through designated zones, and at Terminal 1 that means a walk to a parking structure and a queue that becomes genuinely long during conventions and holiday weekends. A pre-arranged chauffeur meets you at the designated pre-arranged pickup area, or inside baggage claim on a meet and greet booking, and you walk straight out.
Yes, with as much notice as you can give. During CES in January, the November Grand Prix, the National Finals Rodeo and the largest trade shows, essentially every vehicle in the valley is committed, road closures around the Strip change the routing, and availability runs out months ahead rather than weeks. We hold capacity for those dates but cannot create it late.
Yes, usually booked hourly rather than as a one way transfer. The West Rim is around two and a quarter hours each way and works comfortably as a day. The South Rim is closer to four and a half hours each way and is honestly better as an overnight. Zion is two and a half to three hours and is one of the best value days out of this city. The chauffeur stays with you throughout and your things stay in the vehicle.
